In Microsoft Office Sharepoint 2007, you might see the following Warning message in the Crawl Log after doing an incremental crawl:

The object was not found. (The item was deleted because it was either not found or the crawler was denied access to it.)
Solution:
The first thing you should try is to see if the file exists, so navigate to the link that is showing the error message and make sure it exit in your portal. If it exist, then a full crawl should solve the problem.
Make sure that the Default Content Access Account has the right permissions on the site and can access the files.
If the above didn’t help, then delete the file from your site then add it and run incremental crawl.
The above should solve the issue and the file should start to appear in search.
